Lineup (4-1-3-2)

Something new for Adelaide United - 2 strikers and 1 holding midfielder.

Dilevski/Watson will act as a right wing back, making runs down the right side which we had lacked depth in last season.

Lone DM Usucar - will be a departure from our traditional 2 holding mids. Cover will be provided by Dilevski/Watson cutting in when required, and the back tracking of Caravella.

If Slory has indeed signed, he will be welcome to compete with Caravella on the right wing. Both players provide something different - Slory with speed and attack, Caravella with work rate and defence.

Djite and van Dijk up front. Both hold the ball up well, and both will feed off each other relatively easily. One of either striker may drop back allowing the wingers to cut in more centrally to congest the midfield against teams like Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar.

Djite is more a poacher inside the 6 yard, whereas van Dijk will shoot anywhere around the 18 yard box.
