Terry and Ferdinand are the center backs, Ferdinand as ball playing CB and Terry as Stopper (No Nonsense guy). Sagna and Winterburn are full backs, with both giving more importance to defending but will make few forward runs whenever possible. We will play a narrow 4-4-2 (diamond) with Hamann as DM, Gerrard and Fabregas in front of him on right and left sides respectively. Gerrard and Fabregas will provide help to the full-backs if the full-backs are not able to cope with opposition attacks. Deco plays in front of these 3 as a CAM/AM. Tevez and RVN upfront with Tevez playing deeper than RVN as SS.

When losing
At around 70 mins Torres on for Deco and formation changes to 4-3-1-2 with Torres and RVN upfront with Tevez behind them. If still losing at 85 then Walcott comes in for Winterburn and formation changes to 3-3-4, with Sagna playing as 3rd CB with a mid of Hamann, Cesc and Gerrard and Tevez shifting to Left side of attack and Walcott occupying right side.

When winning
At around 70 mins Torres comes on for RVN just to freshen things up. After 82 mins Gilberto comes on for Deco. Formation changes to 4-2-2-2, with Gilberto and Hamann as DM's with Gerrard and Fabregas ahead of them with Torres and Tevez upfront.

When drawing
Just one change around 78 mins, Torres on for Tevez with same formation but a bit more attacking approach from both strikers.
