Cafu, Lizard to combine with a free-floating Dinho to press the opposition fullbacks. Breitner (Who stays back and covers the left flank while Lizard is moving forward) and Pirri play in a double pivot- one makes a forward run while the other stays back. Gentile plays stopper, Nesta the covering player (Drifts out wide to cover for Cafu while he is on the move) and Kaiser being Kaiser. He is the starting point of our attack and also the last line of defense.
Up front, Bergkamp and Nordahl will thrive on the supply provided by the two box to boxes and wide players.

While leading at 65' mark, Bergkamp is sacrificed for Basti who adds steel to the midfield, zlso playing the role of a deeper- lying midfielder. Lizard falls back to play a traditional left back and Breitner shifts to protect him while defending.
while trailing: at 60' mark, Kaiser steps into the midfield to assist Breitner while Pirri is taken off to bring on Kopa. Dinho shifts to the left and brings more attacking threat from out wide while Kopa looks to cut in from an RCAM position.
