Los Angeles Galaxy Soccer Formation
Lineup (4-3-3)
Handanovic · Ivanovic · Kompany · Zabaleta · Alba · Busquets · Valero · Vidal · Suarez · Robben · IbrahimovicSamir Handanovic - Quality goalkeeper. The big Slovenian is a major reason the Nerazzurri didn't finish in the bottom half of the table this year. Not a bad penalty-stopper either. World Class.
Pablo Zabaleta - As reliable as they come at right-back, the Argentinian has made the RB spot his own at the Etihad, fighting off the likes of Micah Richards and World Cup winner Maicon. Solid.
Branislav Ivanovic - The no-nonsense Serbian is a Champions League medal holder and scored the winning goal in the Europa League final this year. Contributes a few goals too. Determination.
Vincent Kompany - A major contributor to Manchester CIty's long awaited title, bringing strength and power to the backline of any team, he was awarded the armband at City. Leadership.
Jordi Alba - Just when you thought Spain had a weakness, another world class player comes in. The diminutive full-back has blended seamlessly in at Barcelona after his Team of the Tournament performance at Euro 2012 that ended in glory. Dangerous.
Sergio Busquets - Despite only being 24, Busquets has won the European Championship, Champions League and the World Cup. Add that to the countless trophies at Barcelona and you have one of the best DM's in Europe. Winner.
Borja Valero - The Spaniard came to Serie A in a Fiorentina team that underwent a renaissance under Montella. His touch and passing helped Fiorentina keep fighting for a spot in the Champions League until the last week. Tidy.
Arturo Vidal - The tenacious Chilean has gone from strength to strength since moving to Italy, winning back to back Scudetti and amassing a high number of goals for a midfielder. Energy.
Arjen Robben - The fleet-footed Dutch winger finally got his hands on the Champions League after his 3rd final, setting one up and scoring the winner. Threatening.
Luis Suare - Controversial yet classy. The Liverpool man is still a top forward and Liverpool's dependance on their Uruguayan frontman is clear for everyone to see. Entertainment.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Zlatan. Wherever he goes, league titles follow. The big Swede has it all, and doesn't he know it. The definition of ''a good touch for a big man''. Zlatan.
I feel the team is great in all areas, what it lacks in the stand out ability of Messi or Ronaldo, it more than makes up for with a mean defence of technically capable footballers, a midfield of the highest quality mobile passers and a forward line that will strike fear into anyone.
