This is the formation i would play with liverpool. Up front, Andy Carroll would be the target man, linking up with Suarez and Cole on both wings.
The midfield consists of Lucas defending and Mereiles linking up with Gerrard to build attacks from the midfield, and the width comes from the attacking full backs, Johnson and Kelly.
