West Germany "Victorious XI" (1990)

Franz Beckenbauer did it again for Germany. Albeit this time as a coach/manager, while in 1974 he was the captain. Lothar Matthäus marshalled the midfield, and having a terrific defense with the likes of Brehme and Kohler providing more than just support, Völler and Klinsmann completed the attacking force, that completed this very talented team.
Matthäus was at his best when he neutralised the threat of Maradona, who was still at his very best (although not like his 1986 form).
