West Germany "Victorious XI" (1974)

Franz Beckenbauer inspired Germany to their magnificent win in the World Cup 1974, while in the process defining the role of Liberos and becoming the greatest defender of all time. With a host of great players like Müller, Breitner, Overath and others, this was a team worthy champion. This team also neutralised the much-fancied Dutch side playing Total Football under the leadership of dynamic Cruyff, and defeated them 2-1 in the Final.
