I chose this formation because it is the most solid formation when it comes to an organized style of play. It can be defensive and be used as a counter attack play when playing a team superior to you on paper and it can also be offensive with the defesive wide players supporting in attack aswell as the midfielders joining attack.

Reasons for players chose:
Corona (Goalie): Has become the most solid goalie. Has the defense feel more secure.
H. Mier (Center Back): Hiram Mier is in fact our future leader in defense and is ready for a generation change from Rodriguez who will be his last World Cup, Hiram Mier, would have two more world cups after 2012.
Hector Moreno (Center Back): Moreno is already a veteran at 25 years old, has all the european experience to lead our defense.
Israel Jimenez (Right Back): Solid in defense, and tends to help in attack without completely leaving his defense responsibility. Has a great shot power.
Jorge Torres Nilo (Left Back): A player who is physically strong and fast. Goes up good in the air and great header. His contribution to attack is outstanding.
Eduardo Zavala (Defensive Midfielder): Has been our most solid center midfielder since pavel pardo. He is very tall and wins most balls in the air. Keep in mind that he started playing as a foward when he debuted, and know how to attack. He has great positioning and great header.
Hector Herrera (Center Midfielder): I chose Hector Herrera over Salcido and Chaton Enriquez, because unlike them, Herrera has the ability to run at players and surprise defenses through the middle. He has great stanima and is all over the mield. He is a mixed midfielder that will surprise in attack and has a great shot.
Andres Guardado (Left Wing): Our best player without a doubt! Why? Because he is a complete player. Andres has a great shot, great crossing, has lots of stanima is a wide player that helps alot in recuperating the ball. His vision of play is his best quality.
Carlos Vela (Right Wing): I chose Carlos Vela over Aquino, because I want our team to be a little more offensive. He may not be as solid as Aquino in positioning and recuperating the ball, but he has more explosion and goal then Aquino. We have enough players with defensive capabilities, we need some one different in the field that makes a difference.
Giovanni Dos Santos (Central Foward): Giovanni, is the most explosive player we have and that has that x-factor that most players dont have. He really needs to pick up his slack. At a 100% he will be our best player. His left foot has a great shot and his run at players makes the difference in games.
Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez (Striker): Without a doubt our true number 9! His positioning up front and finding spaces to score is one of the best in the world. He oviously does not have the technique Peralta has, but we have enough players to cover the technique and plays with our wide players and midfielders. Chicharito only needs to worry about scoring, which he does best!
