van Persie · Rooney · Kagawa · Valencia · Anderson · Cleverley · Evra · Rafael/Jones · Ferdinand · Vidic · De Gea- Valencia has the class and capability to play in a more central role. He offers a lot defensively as well.
- Him, along with Cleverley and Anderson would form a solid midfield.
- Further up we have Kagawa who would play the trequartista or 'no.10' role behind the two main strikers, van Persie and Rooney.
- This formation is versatile and can easily switch to a 4-4-2 or a 4-2-3-1 depending on the situation.
