Real Madrid C.F. Football Formation

Lineup (3-4-2-1)

I chose this formation for Los Blancos because it shows exactly how threatening the team is, being able to produce many goals between the 4 offensive threats up front as well as how strong and impregnable its defensive half will be with the back 6, leaving Casillas with little work to do nut as usual will be there when needed. With lots of able bodies to play in this formation on the bench as well with the likes of Arbeloa, Sahin, Callejon, Kaka, Raul Albiol, Higuain.

- I used Benzema as the lone striker because in my mind is one of the best possession strikers who can hang on to the ball and make great passes as well as brilliant strikes from anywhere within 30 yards of the goal.

- Ronaldo and Di Maria I would use as wingers as these two with the alternate being Kaka. Di Maria is besides Ozil is one of the best passes on the team he can feed the ball consistently to Benzema. Ronaldo on the other hand is there for his offensive prowess just a pure goal scoring machine capable of creating space from any defender with or without the ball.

- Ozil would play as a CAM he is the play maker of this squad and of this formation. Every single ball would go through him as the ball moves forward also playing him a bit more forward in front of Alonso makes his defensive responsibilities a little bit less making a counter attack seem like a structured play that had been developing for a few minutes with his substitute being Callejon.

- The midfield is made up of the two outside midfielders being Coentrao and Khedira, these two are inserted here since both are great ball handlers under pressure. Coentrao is a left back usually but he is very useful here as a Left Midfielder but since theres only 3 in the back line his defensive knowledge along with his great offensive capabilities make him the perfect man for the spot. Khedira in the present Real Madrid formation 4-2-3-1(2) is a defensive central midfielder his responsibilities will be very similar just more leeway to go for the goal and show exactly how big of a threat he really is as a shooter from outside. Alonso is by far the only man for the job here he is the heart and soul of this midfield and of this formation working. Being able to complete 87% of your passes over the entire year including the champions league and the Copa Del Rey is an astronomical feat. His defensive work load would be a little bit heavier but with the help of Khedira and Coentrao in the midfield as well there isn't a lot of pressure centered onto him.

- In the back obviously the dynamic duo of Pepe and Ramos in there is essential with Ramos as a RB but little bit more central as Khedira will cover most of the right flank in the defensive half. Marcelo will be in his normal spot as a LB but like Ramos playing more central with Coentrao covering off the left flank of the defensive half for the most part. And well Pepe he will be his usual terrifying self in the heart of the defensive being supported by Alonso in any real defensive situations that may occur.
