Brazil 1970. Note the deep lying Gerson, initiator of many Brazilian attacks. Although technically a left winger, Revelino also played deep. Tostao played in the most advanced position and was always deep in the enemy defence. Pele dropped back often to help out in midfield. A foul on Pele near the midfield line, set up the third goal of the 1970 final off a free kick from Gerson.
