Serbia Football Formation
Lineup (4-4-2)
Јоргачевић · Коларов · Ивановић · Суботић · Видић · Нинковић · Качар · Тошић · Красић · Сулејмани · ЖигићThe formation is: Bojan Jorgacevic in goal, Branislav Ivanovic (RB), Aleksandar Kolarov (LB), Nemanja Vidic, Neven Subotic (CB) - Kacar, Vidic (CM), Krasic (RM), Tosic (LM) - Nikola Zigic, Miralem Sulejmani (ST). This is the standard and most frequently used formation in football. Everybody knows that Ivanovic (Chelsea), Vidic (Manchester United), Subotic (Borussia Dortmund) and Kolarov (Manchester Citiy) are by far the best defenders on the team without a doubt. Ninkovic (CM) often plays as a left midfielder, but can also operate as a central midfielder. Kacar is showing solid performances in Hamburger, thus he deserves to play alongside Ninkovic (Dynamo Kyiv). Other central midfielders include Stankovic (Inter Milan) and Kuzmanovic (Stuttgart). Even though both are key players in their teams, they (especially Stankovic) don't show performances as good as they do in their clubs. Danko Lazovic (Zenit) the club's and league's (Russian league) top scorrer quit the national team due to lack of playing time. Nikola Zigic (Birmingham City), who also played in Racing Santander and Valencia, was once an expensive and respected striker, with a market value of over 20 million euros. Now, in his thirties, he still often scores goals and his especially good at heading, with a height of 202 metres. And finally, Miralem Sulejmani (Ajax Amsterdam) plays as a left winger at Ajax, but can also operate as a striker. The man who broke the Eredivisie transfer fee record when he moved from Heerenven to Ajax, had a tough time establishing in the team, but has finally managed and is one of the top scorrers at the club.
