Everton Football Formation
Lineup (4-2-3-1)
Howard · Lescott · Jagielka · Coleman · Baines · Fellaini · Arteta · Rooney · Pienaar · Cahill · LukakuIf you have Liverpool in the PL you have to have Everton. Additionally I have never minded them and often like to see them do well. For the line-up I found myself choosing some of their best players and seeing what formation fit. The defence and keeper was probably the best I could do, all of them having great spells with the club (generally quite reliable between them too). Fellaini although unpopular after Everton, certainly made an impact whilst he was there, he's very useful for breaking up the plays and winning aerial challenges. Arteta doesn't really need explaining and to be fair neither to the front 4. I see Lukaku spearheading the attack with his fairly clinical finishing (scoring in nearly half his games for Everton). Cahill is an Everton legend - enough said. Rooney gets the freedom of playing the advanced midfield role which he thrives in, whilst also having space to move out left, which I remember him doing a few times in his outstanding 2004 Euro campaign. Pienaar was a part of one of Everton's most successful stints, offering his skilful moves, clever link up and occasional goal contribution. Honourable mentions are Distin, P. Neville, Hibbert, Osman and Yakubu. The captaincy goes to Arteta - his leadership skills at Arsenal have impressed me. Moyes is the only man for this team - the shrivelled up party sausage!
