Lineup (4-2-3-1)

I really don't think my reason for choosing Liverpool in this PL need explaining. The keeper I feel was a tough one, as Reina was a great keeper for us. It was hard to look past Alisson though, who rarely makes mistakes and often looks impregnable. I couldn't think of 2 more competent and intelligent centre backs, which I feel are complimented by wingbacks that can not only link up well with the wingers and the attack, but also defend when needed. I feel the centre midfielders choose themselves, they are both well rounded players, which can switch between attack and defence (as long as Alonso isn't trying to tackle). With Salah and McManaman we have 2 very attacking wingers who can stretch teams with their mazy runs, as well as cut in and score. Bobby is there to link up the midfield and the attack, much like Benitez wanted Keane for. Whilst Bobby can score, he is not the most clinical, but his work rate and link up play will bring all those around him into play. Suarez speaks for himself (and bites for himself). His work rate, his clinical finishing, his skill are all without question. I also feel he would link up so well with Bobby. Also when he drops back to win possession, he has 2 attack minded wingers who can run on for the through ball. Honourable mentions are Carragher, Agger, Robertson, Arbelo, Mascherano, Hamann, Fabinho, Kuyt, Owen, Fowler, I hate to say it but Torres, Pongolle (of course) and many more. The Captain is Mr Liverpool himself, Stevie G. The manager is a tough one due to Klopp's current success, likability etc etc. I wouldn't be being true to myself though if I didn't choose the master tactician himself Mr Rafa Benitez. Not only would he be great at nullifying the top teams in the head to head games (which takes some doing), but he would adore Firmino! Lets not forget the trophies he won us and how close he came to winning the league for us too.
