As mentioned in my reasoning for Villa, Blackburn were always a team I felt belonged in the PL (until more recently). Certainly an enjoyable team to watch under Mark Hughes, which is how I always remember them. The team is obviously based heavily on his successful run. A solid entry with Brad in goal, with some top CB's in Colin Hendy and big Samba, supported by some solid fullbacks. The midfield explains itself I feel, Bentley offers the crossing and set pieces whilst Pederson was very good at dribbling and making a nuisance of himself. Whilst there have been some good attackers for Blackburn over the years, the 2 I choose seem obvious for the partnership they forged (with Shearer claimed by Newcastle). Honourable mentions are less than most as this team feels pretty solid, but Robinson and Flowers get a mention, as does Hoilet, Duff, Znonzi and Emerton. The captain for me has to be Hendry, I always admired him growing up and felt he stood out as a leader. The manager is Mark Hughes this is basically his team.
