Lineup (4-1-4-1)

The biggest advantage of the 4-1-4-1 formation is the flexibility it possesses. Depending on the opposition team's tactics, the formation can be transformed into the more defensive 4-2-3-1 with the box to box central midfielder moving behind or the more attacking 4-3-3 or even the 4-4-2. Football is dynamic and requires a team to be as flexible as possible to deal with the various situations that arise during the game. The Polish National Team has some fantastic players that are able to adapt to this type of formation. This formation has been successfully employed by Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
