GK: Tim Krul - I chose him because of his age and shot blocking ability, as well as being a full Holland international.

LB: Jose Enrique - Great player on the ball, expert delivery, strong and doesn't have much competition(i hope he doesn't go).

CB: Steven Taylor - Born and bread Geordie, he has a great eye for goal being a defender and is very strong

CB: Fabricio Coloccini(C) - He is very composed on the ball and doesn't panic one bit, also a very good shot blocker and tackler, top top defender.

RB: Danny Simpson - Very underrated player, pretty quick on and off the ball and is very young so plenty of room to improve. he also has no competition.

CDM: Cheik Tiote - Newcastle United's player of the 2010/2011 season, he has very good ball control, determination and is very physical, but needs to cut down on the bookings.

CDM: Blaise Matuidi - This player has been strongly linked with Newcastle and is a top performer in Ligue 1, and is a very similar player to Tiote

LAM: Sylvain Marveaux - Recently signed from Rennes, this player has blistering pace and is able to go past players with ease, as well as having a great free kick.

CAM: Yohan Cabaye - This player is a recent arrival from Lille and has the ability to unlock defences with his great vision and passing, he also loves the ball at his feet and is a full French international.

RAM: Ben Arfa - Similar to Marveaux, Ben Arfa is a very explosive player with great dribbling and a powerful shot. He was once thought of as "the future of French football" and is also a full french international.

CF: Mevlut Erdinc - This was the hardest decision to make, but should Newcastle sign this Turkish star, i feel he will adapt very well to the premier league, and he also has a great scoring record for PSG and Sochaux
