Barcelona's dream team from 1992, managed by Johan Cruyff. When they did win the 1992 European Cup at Wembley - previously the only Spanish club to win Europe's premier club competition, as their Castillan rivals Real Madrid had been winning it previously.

If Diego Maradona was still in the side after being sold to Napoli in 1984, the dream team would probably win more than one European Cup between 1989 and 1994, in my view. However, Cruyff's dream team is second best to the Barcelona team now, that has been a powerhouse in European football since 2008, and now, in 2012.
