Buffon · Subotic · Chiellini · Lichtsteiner · Ziegler · Pirlo · Lass Diarra or Fernando(porto) · Marchisio · Pastore · Arshavin · Matri

This formation is similar to AC Milan formation of 2004/05 and 2006/07 during which they were really successful, in defense there are 3 new players from last season. Ziegler had already joined where as Lichtsteiner would be joining soon. In center of defense i have Chiellini with Subotic who is the best defender in Bundesliga because the patnership of Chiellini and Bonucci has failed. The midfield is very similar to Milan's famous diamond midfield of 2004/05(Pirlo Gattuso Seedorf Kaka) or 2006/07(Pirlo Gattuso Ambrosini Seedorf), similarly Pirlo will sit in front of defense as a deep-lying playmaker, Lass Diarra or FERNANDO(porto) doing the dirty work like Gattuso did, Marchisio would be the box-box midfielder and on top of the diamond would be Pastore. Upfront the two player's would be Matri and Arshavin. Arshavin would bring more flexibility as he can play as a second striker or winger or attacking midfielder. AND for 2012/13 season i would buy JOVETIC who would play instead of Arshavin in that role and Arshavin would sit on the bench
